Aloha Ohana, we would like to introduce the new “Native Lands” design. Helping spread awareness to the on-going disrespect Corporations and our Government show to the Native Hawaiian & Native American communities as well as indigenous cultures across the globe. how to get real cialis
A cause Native Hawaiians have been fighting for, for a long time. From the illegal occupation of 1893 to preserving sacred Mauna Kea. This has been an on-going mission to preserve the culture and respect the relationship between man and nature but corporate greed and the disconnect from the land cause turmoil amongst the people. legal buy viagra australia
In the times we live in, we have become consumed with our daily lives & personal struggles. Submerged in a world that never stops it can become easy to fall asleep to the issues that don’t affect us directly & immediately. That’s why being aware and spreading awareness is a powerful tool. Not everyone can be there at every fight but if you are we salute you. cialis compare discount price
President Donald Trump used his second weekday in office to sign memoranda aimed at advancing the Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines, which pleased supporters of the projects and brought immediate condemnation from environmentalists and other opponents. cialis 10mgtadalafil online
We stand with the people of Standing Rock Sioux Tribe. This is nothing more than a Corporation interested in sheer profit going up against culture and the environment. According to Trump, this will create jobs. Sure they will, temporarily. Once the construction and damage have been done, you’ll have temporary workers taking care of a permanent stream of profit that only the corporations’ owners will benefit off of. It seems as Mr. President doesn’t believe Native Lands Matter nor the environment. cialis 800mgtadalafil buy uk
We wish all the tribes and people who are dedicating their time, energy and spirit the best of luck & continue fighting the good fight. We will prevail, Defend the Sacred!
In 2014, Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg spent $100 million on 700 acres of beachfront land on Kauai’s North Shore to create a secluded sanctuary for his family.
Now, he’s trying to ensure that privacy by suing families who might stake some claim to that land.
The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports that Zuckerberg is filing lawsuits against a few hundred people – many living and some dead — who inherited or once owned “kuleana lands,” which are lands passed down to the heirs of the first landowner without a will or a deed.
Under the Kuleana Act of 1850, those lands are also passed down to people who now only own fractions of an interest in the property. But in many cases, there’s no documentation.
Keoni Shultz, a partner at Cades Schutte, which represents Zuckerberg companies, released this statement:
“It is common in Hawaii to have small parcels of land within the boundaries of a larger tract, and for the title to these smaller parcels to have become broken or clouded over time. In some cases, co-owners may not even be aware of their interests. Quiet title actions are the standard and prescribed process to identify all potential co-owners, determine ownership, and ensure that, if there are other co-owners, each receives appropriate value for their ownership share.”
A contested case could potentially cost land owners more than $200,000, though Shultz says Zuckerberg has no intention of contesting any co-owner who can prove their interest in any of the land parcels.
This past Sunday, we all tuned into Fox Sports to watch our hero & legend BJ Penn grace the octagon once again after a 2 1/2 year hiatus. Taking place on UFC Fight Night 103, Penn matched up against a young, up & coming fighter; Yair Rodriguez.
After all the suspense and eagerness the time had come. The pre-lims were over, the co-main event settled down & the crowd was ready for BJ to come out & show up. If you’re a BJ fan you could feel it in your bones. As soon as the classic Braddah IZ song started to play you knew it was that time.
The fight is about to start, Big John has gone over the rules, Penn & Rodriguez touch gloves, alright here we go, the moment we have all been waiting for. The bell rings, BJ makes his way towards the center of the octagon as him & Yair find their comfort zones. Penn found a home for a counter left and a right hand in the opening minutes of the fight, but once Rodriguez started to open up his arsenal and let his weapons fly, the massacre began. Unfortunately, Hawaii’s beloved son & MMA Icon was defeated in the opening of the second round.
Congratulations to Yair for the win over such a legendary figure in the MMA community & congratulations to BJ Penn for stepping into the octagon once again proving that regardless of age or time away from the sport, the love & passion to compete is still there. Of course, it’s about the W but what’s more important than that is the fact that we have legends still willing to test themselves against a new generation of athletes that have learned from the legends & evolved from those lessons to become the fighters they are today.
You can give the man a loss on his record but you could never take away the achievements he as accomplished. We will always support you BJ Penn in any way, shape or form. We wish you the best of luck in all your future endeavors & we hope to see you bounce back like the champ we all believe you to be.
On Jan. 17, 1893, the government of the Kingdom of Hawaii was overthrown.
Hawaii’s last reigning monarch protested the overthrow, but Queen Liliuokalani yielded her authority in hopes to avoid bloodshed and spare her people. She did release a statement saying she expected the United States to reinstate her as the rightful Constitutional Sovereign of the Hawaiian Islands.
That never happened.
In commemoration of the 124th anniversary of the overthrow, the Royal Order of Kamehameha I is holding a rally at the King Kamehameha statue off King Street across from Iolani Palace.
The Order is a knighthood established by Kamehameha V to promote and defend the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Hawaii.
Hookupu and ritual protocol will be presented by the men of Ka Leo O Laka l Ka Hikina O Ka La, who won overall at the 2014 Merrie Monarch.
Members from all statewide chapters of the Order will be present for a proclamation and statement to the community regarding the recent Interior Department rule on Native Hawaiian nation-building efforts.
Over the decades, the Order has maintained its position that the Kingdom of Hawaii still exists — although the government does not — and it has expressed its commitment to work towards someday restoring a rightful government to the Hawaiian people. Order members say this does not mean kicking everyone out of Hawaii or even seceding from the United States, but it does mean that the re-established government would be the inheritors of all lands presently held in trust as “ceded lands.”
On the 100th anniversary in 1993, President Bill Clinton signed into law the “Apology Resolution” passed by Congress, which apologizes to Native Hawaiians on behalf of the United States for its involvement in the overthrow of the Kingdom of Hawaii. It was the first formal recognition by the United States government of the Native Hawaiian monarchy’s dissolution.
The Royal Order of Kamehameha I says Tuesday’s rally, which starts at 10 a.m., is open to everyone.

UFC Fight Night Countdown: Rodriguez vs. Penn takes you inside the gyms of two featherweights preparing for a main event between old school and new blood. Former two-division champion BJ Penn returns from retirement, having stoked an inner motivation that now has him pursuing gold in a third weight class. Flashy up-and-comer Yair Rodriguez continues his ascent, adding new layers and skills to the game that helped him win The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America.
Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight and welterweight titleholder, B.J. Penn, is returning to mixed martial arts (MMA) this Sunday night (Jan. 15, 2017) at UFC Fight Night 103 inside Talking Stick Arena in Phoenix, Arizona.
If that’s the case, “Pantera” will like all this title talk even less.
“Definitely, the third title is also 100 percent driving me,” Penn told MMA Fighting. “Getting those three titles in three different weight classes, that would just be an awesome accomplishment for myself, and then I could probably get some sleep at night. That is my driving factor.”
Penn (16-10) expects a “quick” return to the cage following this weekend’s duties on FOX Sports 1.
Joe Rogan ranks the greatest BJ Penn moments inside the Octagon from his Hall of Fame career. Penn faces Yair Rodriguez in the main event of Fight Night Phoenix on Sunday, January 15 live on FS1.

Coming off one of the best fights of 2016, Angela Lee will put her ONE Championship atomweight belt on the line when she faces Jenny Huang on March 11.
ONE: Warrior Kingdom takes place at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
Lee (6-0) won the ONE title last May, defeating Mei Yamaguchi via unanimous decision after five thrilling rounds. All of her other five professional fights took place under the ONE banner, with five submission victories.
“I am so excited for my first title defense,” Lee stated in a release. “I had back-to-back fights leading up to the title fight, and after I won the belt I took some time off. The goal for 2017 is to be an active champion and to stay busy.”
Huang (5-0) in also unbeaten as a professional fighter, and earned a shot at the 105-pound gold after four straight victories inside the ONE Championship cage, including three straight submission finishes in 2016.
“I have been working so hard to come to this point in my career, and now that I’m finally here it all feels very surreal to me,” Huang said. “Inside the cage I only have one goal, and that’s to win this bout at any cost. She had better be prepared for what I bring to the table, because I will go to battle with my full arsenal.”
